most of you have missed the point of this act..he is not implying that we should not care about the environment and take measures to improve it..he is simply saying that we should not act as if it is an altruistic thing ..its not like saving a kid from a burning building.. we are doing it for ourselves and not "the planet" as many people would have you believe and if we want to live comfortably and our children as well u will have to take steps..but it indeed is a selfish act

Sometimes I forget he's actually gone. I'm not that sad about it anyway, he lived to a good, ripe age, maybe could've squeezed a few extra years. Man oh man though, what a great comedian. I always associate him with Frank Zappa for some odd reason, they both seemed to have the same sort of cynicism and humour. RIP CARLIN+ZAPPA.
