Preach brother! I think the problem with Haitian movies are that these people go to Best Buy, buy a camera, a light, write a bad story, get their friends and whalla! They have a movie. If these people, really took the time to learn the simple basics, like lighting and cinematography, they would do so much better. Things have to change. Glad you spoke on this.

your right bro but at the same time we should open our culture to other people....im not only talking about the movies but the music,,,,,the food...we can go on. but one last note "you guys are buying the movies". alot of these people aren't pro's.

for real. I hate that. Ok want hip hop use Barikad crew, belo, bic,mistry jean,neg mawon. They di switch the languages. I want my haitian movie to be in kreyol. Most haitian kids of diaspora of kids speak kreyol but we didn't go to school in haiti. Keep it kreyol. Oh and hait when song overpowers talking of the actor audio, sync . Some movies I will just trun it off refuse. Right now canada is number one consistent. Oh Chapters hubby hates that!

I'm definitely with you on that one. There's many times, I'd rather switch it off then watch it also. I really hope Haitians improve within the coming years.

you right, but in one scene if you switch from kreyol to french or english that is fine is not a probleme. movie is what you call culture of nation that we put on big screen. so if you are doing a movie in the usa as haitian "educated haitian" these people will speak english french and creol, so is ok. if you are doing a movie in haiti, you might choose to do it either in french or kreyol...... anyway good job borther

I understand what you're saying and you're right. I don't have a problem with them switching between languages. Because I understand all 3. But to someone who doesn't understand all 3 languages, it's a problem. As long as there are subtitles, it should be fine. - Thank You for watching
