Yep, The City was ahead of its time. American soaps are only starting to catch onto the use of permanent outdoor shooting like British soaps. ATWT and GL are going to this method next year.

I agree 100% with the lot of you. ABC treated this show like something they scraped off the bottom of their shoes. With the exception of how long they dragged out "Molly the Masquerader", this was a really good show - and SO MUCH BETTER than the ABC soaps now, especially GH and AMC!

You are seriously an idiot. Anyone who can't tell that Morgan Fairchild is a legend needs to recieve more oxygen to the brain. FYI, she recently starred in an English telenovela called Fashion House on MyNetwork TV...it bombed, but not due to her (bad network & ad politics). Oh, and why bring Halle Berry into this? She's talented too!

This would be a good clip for new Jessie and Angie fans of AMC to see... apparently they roped in lots of newbies bringing Darnell & Debbie back. KUDOS!!! And they addressed the whole Jacob issue, which surprised me - I thought ABC would never have any mention of CITY life be mentioned again.

If you're talking about the gal showing up around 1:28, it's actually Joni (I think) Allen, who played the part of Zoey for the show's entire run. I wonder whatever happened to her? She actually gave such biggies as Morgan F. and Jane E. a run for their money in several scenes!

The City had lots of potential. Being ahead of it's time, it felt very alive and had a style all of it's own. To bad it did not make it. Didn't "Angie Hubbard" also appear on "Port Charles"?
