This group is living proof that life is not fair. I sometimes wish I had the power to make someone a star, no strings attached. Go back and listen, really listen to that fucking voice, then think of all the so called pop stars whose voices are digitally enhanced to sell CDs. If you ever wonder if life is fair or not, listen to some of the music this band has released and you to will wonder why they are not more famous. Another band that comes to mind is Scarling. Jessica's voice is amazing!

Certainly agree with "Simmadownnow" in this view. Johnette's vocals are awesome and their is next to nobody who can sing as well with such emotion and streangth. Overlooked, downplayed and underappreciated in the music world. She is a gift and a blessing to music in general. People that are not familar with Concrete Blond and Johnette's music have lost out on of the greatest music ever assembled.

Noone I know have heard Concrete Blonde. Except me and my brother, I guess noone in this town know them. It's a pity but not a strange case because this town as many many others in my country have the same problem. The mass media pollution.
Anyway Concrete Blonde's music is one strong and wonderful music and I will playing CB's cds for the new generation.

This is the single edit of the song- some of the music is trimmed out as well- they go into the first verse about 8 bars early too. Lame record companies do this to trim the song down, but in this case I think they saved a whopping 20 seconds or so on the original song! You won't find an original, pro-shot video of "Caroline"- they made the video to this edit.
