the point of this add isto say that there are NO ugly girls. Looks and material things DON'T MATTER!! they have chosen average looking girls, not models thats the point: we are all beautiful.
p.s I learnt this when i was a baby so now would be a good time for you to learn it too: if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all

They don't look like models because they have no (or almost none) make-up, but I'd say some of them are astonishingly pretty. And if looks don't matter why do you use the word "beautiful", which is evaluating itself. It's like saying that everyone is intelligent or everyone is nice, which is a fundamental logical error. Otherwise you could say everyone is beautiful, but some people are more, and some are less beautiful. Either way, watching commercials or buying dove won't make you more bautiful

I agree to the pretty faces part, but it doesn't make me want to buy from Dove because I know that they're just another business and part of the Beauty Industry. We are all beautiful, to believe it you just undo what you're taught to think about our own self-image.

What or who is beautiful is a matter of opinion, but being taught to think by the Beauty Industry that only certain looks are beautiful (thin, tall, large eyes, large lips etc) is something much, much worse. It's wrong.

What a good advert only thing I dislike is that it's only females because males also have to deal with the exact same problems and is just as common like myself. I'm naturally red-headed and I have freckles and for years I got bullied because of it and it brought down my self-esteem tremendously. I started dyeing my hair when I was a teenager due to shame. Now I regret it. I think this ad would be much better if it included males too or had one for males too!
