There happen to be several bands, it turns out, who sing with Scottish and Scottish-esque accents. But it's okay-- you and I are Americans and who else would perpetuate the global stereotype that we are ignorant idiots if it weren't for us? I mean, it's not like we expect foreigners to appreciate the vast nuances that seperate Country songs.

i love the life in this music as much as i did when i was about 10 years old when heard it first. i begged my mam to but the cassette for me at christmas!
they never had the recognition as musical innovators etc etc, and i didnt think much of the later stuff, but i'll always fly their flag. a few thoudand people will do the same!
