Where do you ... ( 2 months ago by robotsworld1)
Where do you propose we get the money for "Universal Healthcare?" Who is going to pay for it? Will be get taxed for it? This country won't have Universal Healthcare or anything like it until they stop policing the world, creating wars, and building military Empires (over 700 military bases in 130 countries). That costs trillions of dollars. Healthcare is NOT this country's top priority and you'll see that with Obama or McCain as President.
I have heard ... ( 2 months ago by mahiney8184)
I have heard NOTHING but good things coming from people that live in other countries that have socialized medacine. 2 Canadian, 5 French, 1 American in France, and 3 Italian. Some of their experiences are on my channel "A Case for Socialized medacine." One of the Canadian's I spoke to was after watching Sicko, he said EVERYTHING they said in there was true about Canadians and healthcare.

The changes of getting rid of the illegal "income" tax is highly unlikely because no one in Congress, not even the running candidates are putting it on the table nor making it a goal. It can happen with a well-thought-out transition plan and enough representative voted into Congress by "we the people" to get it done. Next time you vote for someone find out if that's on their platform.
European countries ... ( 2 months ago by robotsworld1)
European countries DON'T have an International Military Empire they have 2 maintain. I don't like socialized medicine b/c I don't like the idea of the gov't telling me & my doctor what is best for me. What they are willing 2 cover & not cover. I don't like that one bit. Socialized medicine, the gov't won't even recognize "alternative" medicine. They won't even recognize "hemp" as medicine for people with AIDS & Cancer now. Feds arrest those people even if it's legal in their state.

FYI. The doctor who delivered my children chose to go back to school to get his Law Degree (JD). He sees his practice shrinking and losing patients to HMO programs. They undermine his decision-making. Basically, he's being told how to run his business thus he's not in control of his practice and can't deliver the Optimum care that he's use to. That's only an HMO program and cannot imagine something runned by the gov't...like the disastrous FEMA (Hurricane Katrina).

No it is not the top priority, but getting out of the war is, which is where the funds will come from to help with the new medical system. You already mentioned that they was is draining billions a DAY. Barackobama . com/issues/healthcare/
I have a relative ... ( 2 months ago by robotsworld1)
I have a relative who chose not to finish H.S., not got got to College, to get dead-end jobs, still living my mommy. He doesn't take care of his health. When is he going to grow up?!! When is going to stop thinking that I'm responsible for picking up his bill at the hospital. He made these decision for himself and I shouldn't have to pay for it. GROW UP, I say and take responsibility for yourself. I did. I still do and I can't afford everything I need for 2 children with Autism.
See. I don't ... ( 2 months ago by robotsworld1)
See. I don't believe in socialized medicine for myself b/c I don't want the gov't in my business, telling me what to do. BUT if other's want that, I'm OK w/that. I'd rather pay for that that war in taxes. BUT I would still be frustrated with my brother who thinks the gov't (thus the taxpayers) owes him and there are Millions of Americans like him. I know PLENTY of people on welfare, milking the gov't and HEALTHY! friends and family. When does that abuse end?
That is only ... ( 2 months ago by mahiney8184)
That is only because the insurances are in BUSINESS to MAKE money and not provide healthcare. They pay their top people and want to make money, not loose it. They have share holders to please. I recomend watching Sicko. It explains the whole US system very well. Live saving medical treatments should not be controled based on the bottom line, which is they system we have set up now. There are confession to the senate from top healthcare people in Sicko from years ago. It is a MUST see for every1
Obama's Foreign ... ( 2 months ago by robotsworld1)
Obama's Foreign Policy is not different from McCain's and maintaining the "Empire" his goal. Deploying "100,000" Marines and Troops. Continuing the war in Afghanistan increasing the troops there. Hostility towards Iran. His advisors are former BUSH/Clinton advisors. Business as usual. Status Quo. Obama may be a nice guy but he's playing with the big boys and he's part of the system.
I know about that. ... ( 2 months ago by robotsworld1)
I know about that. EVERYTHING IS BUSINESS, the almighty $. The gov't is no different. I reiterate, I don't want them in my business, especially my health. I don't believe in taking money from 1 group of people 2 benefit another. For example the abortion thing we spoke of. Again gov't takes your money & does want it wants to benefit only the Corporations, ex. BLACK WATER, FEMA, IRAQ WAR, FED RESERVE. They are servants of the Elites not "we the people"
"you will have it ... ( 2 months ago by robotsworld1)
"you will have it after this plan becomes law. No one will be turned away because of a preexisting condition or illness" -- Obama Where's he going to get the money??? He's making "promises" that's what these guys do. And you know what happens to promises once they get into the White House.
I looked at the ... ( 2 months ago by robotsworld1)
I looked at the above Obama website healthcare comment. Here's what RP says: Paul has said that although he prefers tax credits to socialized medicine, he would be willing to "prop up" the current systems of Medicare and Medicaid with money saved by bringing troops home from foreign bases in places such as those in South Korea. No where does Obama mention reducing the EMPIRE to afford taking care of our own. Where's he going to get the money?
You seem to be ... ( 2 months ago by mahiney8184)
You seem to be bundling the issues of welfare, taxes, the war, and healthcare (not just this comment, but others) into one comment. I know they are not completely independant, but it is really hard to answer you questions issue by issue with such a small reply window when you bundle them all together like that. That being said, What do you really want an answer to?
If you understand ... ( 2 months ago by robotsworld1)
If you understand how the Fed. Reserve works, and how it's linked to our current Foreign Policy then you'll understand how that effects our Domestic issue (Healthcare). Basically, we're never going afford Universal Healthcare for EVERY American b/c of our borrowing, spending, immigration, welfare, issues, no matter how much you want it and think it's right.
Array ( 2 months ago by robotsworld1)
Fannie & Freddie Mae. Who's bailing them out? The Gov't. via The Federal Reserve. Who causes the bubble? The Federal Reserve. Is the Fed. Rev. a Constitutionally legal identity? NO, they are "Private" Corporate & Banking Elites who run the show. Does Congress have the power to cut ties w/them & have our gov't print the $ themselves w/o paying interest thus saving $? YES, it's legally constitutional. Fed Res. profits from Wars b/c Congress approves it & hands bill to bloodsucking Fed. Res.
So your real issue ... ( 2 months ago by mahiney8184)
So your real issue is with the Federal Reserve, because it is behind all of our foreign and domestic problems. Right? Glad we have that settled. Now, aside from Ron Paul being elected, which will never happen (he's too small and controversial), how do you propose we put an end to the FR? By voting McCain and war? Or voting Ron Paul, which is basically a vote against Obama and therefore vote for McCain anyway, which is a vote for war. Thus sending us back into the borrowing money for the war.

I personaly would like to see what other countries are doing that IS working that is not our system. I believe there is a lot to be learned from countries we all admire that are doing well for themselves and well for their citezens.
It's hard to say ... ( 2 months ago by robotsworld1)
It's hard to say that Fed Res. is the "root" problem b/c I believe the true power is in "We the People's" hands if only the majority would WAKE UP. Believe it or not, Ron Paul is not "small." That's what the media would like to limit him as no would fellow-politicians but he's actually a threat to them & we know it, which is why they ridicule, ostracize, and marginalize him. The only choice American's think they have is the one the media/gov't/corporations show them. Thus we're going to sink.

And by-the-way, RP's Rally the Republic Convention had OVER 12,000 in attendance, that's no SMALL. Listen to Jesse Ventura talk about the Ross Perot story you'll see what I mean about the Reps & Dems "monopolizing" the system. Part 1... /watch?v=ym4DxWAL8Ak&feature=related
Not that I'm saying ... ( 2 months ago by robotsworld1)
Not that I'm saying I'm for Ross Perot but "where's the democracy?" We should focus on what OUR gov't is doing. We don't need to go outside to find answers...the answers are in OUR CONSTITUTION. The answer is with "We the People" We once were a Country that was admired and we can do it again. Go to Ron Paul's website and watch the speakers at his Convention, they're smart, well-spoken. You don't have to agree with their stance but can't deny the truth.
