No you cant get the game yet its still in Alpha. But when it does come out it will be pay to play so you will probably be able to pay using the same method as you pay for WoW

I am a big fan of the show more SG1 than Atlantis but both are good. This is the only game I will be willing to pay a monthly fee for. I am excitied to see what kind of story unfolds and if they have any of the people from the show in the game. And I just wanted to say I love how when they had SG1 and Atlantis running at the same time they would sometimes have one of the SG1 guys guest on the Atlantis show. I just thought it was cool that they intertwined the two shows.

Morus Who the hell said that the game will have grafics like this? Its a trailer for god sake. I hate ppl who moans about a game, when its not even finished... Can you sugest a better name? Maybe Stargate Command? but only because the worlds is not right...i mean after blizzard released WoW, nobody should use the words World in their game because that means they are tryng to copy WoW. pfff bitching about the name of the game, seriously, go and find something better to do.

everything i heard about the game sounded great and then i hear 'monthly fee' and i thought of all those other lame games like 'wow' and shit. i bet if they tied the plots to the series then ppl would go crazy 4 this game (cause who doesnt like the series). i really hope they dont let us stargate fans down. our hopes r too high

@ haltrman93 I'll tell you what, why don't you spend millions on a game and endless months/years developing it & paying staff and then tell me that you have no problem with letting people play it for free. @ Lofaszjani I completely agree with you. By using the word "Worlds" they're totally copying WoW. It has nothing to do with the fact that in the game you... oh, say, travel to other WORLDS?! Geez, WoW didn't copyright the word "World"

yeah, about the free mmorpg. Tell me 1 game, that is free, and has all the weapon, armor, spells and stuff, that you dont have to buy in form of an expansion or some shit like that. For example Anarchy online is free..but gets pretty boring after a while, cause you can't go in Shadowlands, no alien raid, no special armor, weapon, no mechas, no nothing.

The MMO needs a monthly fee to recoup some of the money...also the dedicated servers that people play on need to be purchased and maintained. No servers, no game worlds. Also this is the kind of graphics the game will have, Cheyenne Studio have said they are going for the style of graphic and don't want the graphics to be very realistic. Personally for a Sci-fi I like realistic gfx but we'll have to see how it works out. You can find game play videos around already, judge for yourself.

I think they should go the way of a lot of games, Pay for additional features. Shoot with as many fans as Stargate has already who wouldn't want to have ads on that site, that would pay for all of the maintanence and then some.

And WoW actually took that "World" from another MMO that was sadly cancelled. I can't remember the name though.
