Not really, Tigers are afraid of fights usually, they don't want to risk injury, meanwhile Male lions will actually seek out danger to protect what is theirs. Male lions only job is to fight other lions, and therefore he will kick any sissy tiger ass if the tiger doesn't just run away.

Thats one reason i always keep my finger on the remote when watching the Animal Planet and National Geographic channels...I cant stand to see such cruelty in animal world.
