Lol Thinking locally and minimizing the control of the government is actually a very right wing mentality. left "wingery" thought would to have a more controlling government to ensure equality through out the governed land. which never really works on a large scale as we see in history = )

That's debatable (anarchists are typically left wing) but I was referring to the band in general, rather than this one song. If you notice, the woman is wearing a Soviet cap (exactly the same as one I am in possession of.)
Gogol bordello are a left wing band, there is no arguing that. Bloody brilliant though!

I personally hate thinking of it in terms of right and left, liberal and conservative... I don't consider myself conservative by any means, but at the same time, I'm anti-government. I really don't care where they stand politically. I really do feel that their music is bigger than that.
