I would like to hear Ron Paul explain his programs that would replace the programs that he would end. Ending these programs would upset a lot of people who are depending on them. He would essentially have to re-educate Americans.

He is not planning to just take away the benefits of those who have them already. He is proposing the freedom of choice of the younger generation to find more productive, creative, and competitive ways to use their money. BTW, every person who really voted for one of the 3 Diebold e-voting machines front runners must not understand that the IRS is an illegal and unconstitutional corporation. Investigate!!!!

Ouch he just gave props to a Shriners( Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine) hospital. Too bad Mr.Paul doesnt understand the evils of freemasonry. Although I will say those non-profit hospitals arent so bad.

the old age security issue is easy to solve under libertarianism...you appropriate the correct amount of money as ide from your yearly tax savings and invest in a fund. you own yourself, you make your dfecisions for you, so long as they dont infringe on someone else's...with this mindset society would be much better off

God must have taken mercy on the U.S.A. and sent us this wonderful man to guide us during this difficult time. Sadly, too many American sheeple want standard-issue politicians and are afraid to think outside the box. Ron Paul is my PERSONAL President in my heart for 2008 - 2012! GO RON PAUL!

I dont know of many christians that will go to heaven. but this man, giving care to poor patients for low fees and free and just the heart of this man will allow him to Gods Kingdom. Sadly to say, i think the policies he proposes will only work in a world of no evil and greed where people actually volunteer. Where has the Great mindset of American freedom and volunteering go? like Ron Paul! Weall need to ask ourselves that question.

It's like Ron Paul says, when you get government off people's backs they have more money and are much more likely to be charitable. When government mandates it through excessive taxation all it does is make people bitter and angry at those who they percieve and taking their money. e.g. "pregnant woman using food stamps at the grocery store" It's really tragic because a lot of us are generous deep down but the government makes it impossible to act on that. Being generous is good for the heart

Yeah, some people will be charitable, but not simply because they have more money. A small percentage of the most wealthy people in America are humanitarians. This is one of the only things I disagree with him about.
