This is not a contest, I am a Huey Lewis & The News fan. Chris decided to retire to spend more time with his family and now we have Stef who is a GREAT guitar player and the right man for The News!

I know it's not a contest. I was just saying I don't like him. I'm not a fan of his little interludes. I prefer Chris' straight forward, stick to the actual song style. Just a preference. I didn't say everyone who likes Stef is an idiot, y'know?

I agree with you. If Stef is the guitarist, then so be it, but don't change the way the song sounds. The original way it was played in the 80s was the best and always will be. You can't convert the style of a good 80s song to a modern style.

Men, you live in the 2008, not in the 80s! If you hear this song with Chris, who filled in for Stef sometimes, you will hear this same version. Huey and The News decided to re-arrange some of their songs, including some hits, not Stef.

No, it doesn't. If the songs sucked they wouldn't be on here and we wouldn't have these arguments. Chris may be my favorite for sentimental reasons, but what Stef has done is amazing. Any other reasons are just splitting hairs.
Also, I'm sure it was a band decision to re-arrange this song. They've only been working that way for, oh, 29 YEARS! Just try to get your hands on the 12 minute version of "Working for a Living" from 1991 or the fast version of "Bad is Bad" from '83!

Not one of Huey's best tunes that's for certain but still a great performance by everyone. I think when band's get away from their hard-driving ROCKIN stuff, they risk sounding a little aimless. But hey, if you're listening to a band play two or three solid hours at a concert, gotta appreciate their hard work. It's always wierd to read "the best" this and "the best" that on youtube. WHINING GASBAGS all of you talentless hosers and hosebags out there!

Chris Hayes left the band at the end of 1999 to spend more time with his family, he now plays gigs with some artists in the San Francisco Bay Area. Stef Burns took his place in the Band and is now the lead guitarist... As you can see and hear, he's very talented and the right guy for the News!
