Yeah, right man-induced GW is real simply because the IPCC says so - notwithstanding the fact that more than 30000 scientists disputes this (Oh, by the way Exxon, Shell and Mobil do not have 30000 scientist dealing with the environment on their payroll). The smoking gun is that less than 1% CO2 man contributes. The contribution of volcanoes (including the more than 70% that are in the oceans), the sun, cosmic rays are discarded. How sad. The bogey with the ozone hole and CFCs rings a bell.

a2) The 3 mayor global temperatures measures (other than NASA) show an important decline in temperature and they fall AT THE SAME rate while NASA data shows only a slight decline. Does this not arouse suspicions in you? While we show very good correlations between sun activity and temperature and Oceanic Oscillations and temperature you cannot show a lousy graph correlating temperature and CO2 in a long period. To show it you have to fraudulently erase Medieval Warming Period.

a3) FACTS are against you. Computer models predictions have been a spectacular failure. When they fail, they "correct" them and they allege that NOW their models do correct predictions. How can you trust such clueless models more than FACTS that clearly show global temp decrease since the 2002 sun activity maximum? What makes you think that models that failed in the past are now correct? garbage in, garbage out: Bad data(IPCC/NASA) bad conclusions. That is how many were hoeaxed into believing

the only way sea levels can change is if the ice melts over land - not one scientist is saying ALL or even significant levels of ice will melt in fact they have already abandoned "warming" with change because they havent seen the warming lately and still need funding

No matter what (credable) graph you look at (excluding the hockey stick graph of course!)You'll see that there is no such thing as a stable climate anywhere on earth! Warming and cooling is natural and has always happened. To suddenly say that man is making all this happen is nothing more or less than ridiculous. It's funny and even sad how intelligent people have actually bought into the scam. Hey, kudos to all you people fighting it.

I believe this is the second time Wickham has falsely accused me of "marking everybody as spam" - probably hoping that a false accusation will stick because disproving it would be extraordinarily time consuming. If he wishes to apologize for the dishonesty, fine. If not, I won't dwell on it - his character flaws are less important than frequent misstatements on scientific issues. The scientific basis of warming driven by CO2 and other forces, and the sources of data, are what I hope to focus on.

Many viewers may be less interested in refereeing YouTube arguments than understanding evidence underlying CO2-driven anthropogenic warming. Extensive data are found in the literature (GRL, PNAS, J. Climate, etc.), but web sources can be Googled for a start - "Global Warming" for a wikipedia overview plus references, "Greenhouse Effect" for basic physics, "Climate Book" for a mathematically rigorous analysis, and "Lean Rind 2008" for a recent paper with model-independent CO2 confirmatory data.

Nancidrew - As one who has participated in the peer review process as both reviewer and reviewee, I can attest to your point. Peer review doesn't guarantee perfection, but filters out most of the worthless material - for illustration, one need only compare peer-reviewed papers with the spurious claims abundant in climate blogs. The conclusion we're warming the planet to a potentially dangerous extent doesn't rely on the validity of any single paper but on convergence of evidence from thousands.
