what i meant was what i said, "it is a classic" and the lyrics is pure,but music's quality these days is all over the place, the kids these days wouldn't be able to embrace it, for what it is, it's beyond "rolling on dubs" it's the freaking "pusherman" one of the best there was! all hail mayfield!

What I meant was...Im 26. born in 1982. I appreciate "one of the best there was!" as much as you do. That means that even though i might be considered "kids these days", a classic is a classic. that means Curtis Mayfield's talent permeates generations. I can understand why it was great then, because its great now. I think we agree, we just misunderstood eachother. Peace.
