I wonder what would have happened if the apparent majority had a security squad prepared to enforce the rules, by force if necessary? They'd probably be labeled negatively, but they'd get on TV, and then many people would know, right? I guess if it doesn't involve sodomy, the MSM don't really care about corruption, or justice. Just eyeballs and dollar signs.

Taping the meeting is directly permitted by party rules. And, even if the party rules said 'NO,' Texas law provides the means by which it can be done legally. The tape itself doesn't provide the evidence, but the law merely requires ONE non-recording party member to agree to the recording. As long as they asked SOMEONE, they are just fine, regardless of what the party would say. The party rules, however, state that these are public.

The Rules for Conventions can be found with a search for texas gop rules for conventions. Funny, the rules used to be a header on the website. Just noticed that now.

Pretty Simple really. Nueces county Rep. leadership is used to making up the lists of 'delegates' to the county conv. out of thin air instead of getting people involved and actually electing people. This time someone objected, they are trying to cover it up and breaking more laws in the process - denied access to open records, falsified records, railroaded the convention, and the list goes on. Unfortunately we do not know yet if state is going to be any better!!!

VOTER ASKS TX SUPREME COURT TO ORDER NUECES COUNTY GOP CHAIRMAN TO RELEASE RECORDS CORPUS CHRISTI, TX. A Rep. delegate has filed a petition for a writ of mandamus with the TX Supreme Court asking that the court order County Chairman Mike Bertuzzi to release precinct convention records that disclose the identity of delegates properly elected. She claims that numerous unauthorized participants were seated and their votes included in the process of electing delegates to the state convention.

As a Texas Republican, and delegate, I hope the Republican party respects the rules- if they just shut out those who don't agree with the party rulers, we may as well just eliminate the delegate system and let the elite TELL US what to believe...

Two years ago this same tactic was used in Gillespie County, Texas by the County Chairman, Pauline Cusack. A number of us fought it, challenging what they did at the state convention. But, we did not hold a rump convention. The Credentials Committee ejected the County Chairman and the county Credentials Committee Chairman from the state convention, but refused to throw out the entire, illegal delegation, as required by law.
The RPTX is thoroughly corrupt.

The Texas Republican Party is just as Corrupt as the Federal Government. After the precinct caucus, Bertuzzi and others illegally added 151 delegates to the county convention. They did so because, without those illegal "delegates," the Ron Paul delegates would have outnumbered them.

To everyone out there: Please understand that this is not an isolated incident. Apparently the Nueces County people were following the direction of the state party officials. If you would like to help stop this illegal behavior contact the Attorney General and the Department of Justice - DEMAND AN INVESTIGATION. Share the story - INSIST THE GUILTY BE DISCIPLINED!!!
