Thanks for all the positive comments and the support. A big sorry for those who have contacted me and didnt get a respsonse. I've had a lot of requests asking for help for people wanting to do their own mods and a couple of requests from people wanting me to build them a system. I am currently pla
nning a XBOX 360 PC V2.0 However due to my budget I can't afford this build and would basically like to build this for someone, who will pay for the components. the new design will omit the big fan at the side and the ugly power supply replacing the power supply with one like a normal laptop one. i
t will also feature a proper fully ejecting dvd drive like a true xbox 360. specs will be: Intel core 2 duo 2.0 Ghz 2GB RAM DVI out VGA out HDMI out 2 x LAN 6 x USB 2.0 (including the two at the front) 120GB HDD, the hard drive will be swappable with any xbox 360 drives. I am based in London UK an
d will need to be supplied with a broken xbox 360, and the rest of components will cost about £400 (this does not include the cost of an operating system) If anyone is interested, please message me to let me know.

very well done, i was in college today thinking, "hmmm, what if i put a motherboard in a xbox shell" so i got home, searched on youtube, and here we go, this has gave me the convidence to go ahead with the plan after christmas, the specs will be;
AMD Athlon 2.5ghz x 2 (dual core)
3gb ram 800mhz,250gb hard drive,laptop dvd rw,built in geforce 8200.with some fans that spin faster the hotter it gets.planning on getting a 9600gt g-card in

Yeah I agree. I just really do not see what the point of that is. Why go to so much trouble. And it's not a pc for 200 bucks, it's at least double that because he's had to pay for an xbox 360 plus pc components, and he's just put the pc stuff in a 360 shell. The 360 parts have probably gone to waste, so not only is it kind of pointless, but also expensive. Just why?

Everyone keeps talking about how this is just a PC in an Xbox case... I hate to say it, but the 360 is just a PC in a cool case... sorry to burst your bubble but it's not really that challenging tbh... All he's done is modded the machine to run Windows, It is a microsoft product tbh...

So are you trying to say that he installed windows on a 360? He told you that It was a Pentium IV 3.0GHz HT. The real 360s use a triple core PowerPC 3.2 GHz.
