| I fail to understand how raising the temperature by 4 degrees would melt ice in Antarctica and other places since it is usually below 0 there so, wouldn't everything sill be frozen? I'm sure there would be effects but the end of civilization? Come on. |

| my house is on a small peak in a valley. I use to heavy a lot of good breeze, enough breeze to probably throw a guy to the floor. For the past six month now, i have realized that the wind has stopped blowing heavily,instead there is just heat. Without a doubt i know its because of global warming, What was once an unbelievably cold place, is now unbearably hot. I feel like i'm cooking in my own house. What i have noticed is this happens when there are a lot of cars on the road. weekdays |

Check your local weather records, go back as far as you can - then post the TRUTH of the weather extremes in that area. I'll bet that it has been much hotter and colder in the past and that the current weather is nothing abnormal at all. This has been the case all over the world - what make your location so special?
