virgin meaning ... ( 8 months ago by eennvvii)
virgin meaning neither of us had had sex before, so i was wondering does that mean if we have unprotected sex we are at risk of getting STDs or is it impossible unless one of us had unprotected sex before?
Like I said, if ... ( 8 months ago by kicesie)
Like I said, if either of you has had oral sex before, or if either of you have had your genitals touched by someone else you run a risk (slight to significant, depending on what happened and how many people either of you had engaged in oral sex with or how many people had touched either one of you). Again, talk to you doctor if you are concerned.

OK, now the BIG question is: If those 40% know they have an STD, why are they still sexually active? I guess they just don't care about anyone else's well being.
Well just because ... ( 8 months ago by kicesie)
Well just because you have an STD doesn't mean you can't have sex and keep your partner from getting it. Depending on the type of STD... and there's a pretty good chance if it's HPV or Herpes (the only two that condoms really won't protect against that are serious), your partner might have it as well. *shrugs* It's all about communication. And if they don't have it, you disclose the risk and the two of you make some decisions...

I wanted to thank you for this series. A lot of what you say is so very true, but so many sexual active people do not know these things. I'm not sexually active, but i've noticed that I seem to know more than many of my peers who are active.
Sure, they're all big on having sex, all know how to give a blow job, but have no clue when it comes to safety issues! So, thank you for making this available. I have send many a friend this way.

dont worry people , in the near future, a person wont be needing another person to have sex with, that would definitely stop the spread of STDs.

lol, are we talking about the sex with robots thing here? Cause.... how funny, nothing will replace intimacy between two people. We might replace the fucking or whatever, but never the love-making.
who knows? robotics ... ( 7 months ago by mon9inch)
who knows? robotics is so advance now, in the near future there might be a robot that will be soft as a human, feel like a human, can make love to you like a human. if you meant romance when u said intimacy, i think i can live without intimacy, at least iam sure that the robot will not divorce me, and one most important advantage of a robot. IT WILL NOT AGE. agree?

Your best bet is to treat any and all outbreaks (remove any warts), always use condoms. And if she has it, then a child might have to be taken C-section.... it's up to her doctor. Definitely discuss this with your doctor.
Hey Kicesie, not ... ( 7 months ago by Chowdder)
Hey Kicesie, not sure if you're gonna do a video about this but how do you approach asking your partner about whether they have STD or not? This has never been an issue for me, but I'm curious in case if I need to ask in the future. I don't want to give the wrong impression, but again I want to be safe. Should I avoid asking and just use protections instead?
my goodness, it ... ( 6 months ago by bman287)
my goodness, it doesn't take a genius to figure this out. if a condom can prevent you from stds or getting someone pregnant, what is the big deal about wearing one. it doesn't hinder sex that much, where its worth risking gettring stds or getting somone pregnant

It's best to bring it up in a non-threatening manner when it's not in the 'heat of the moment'.... and I always believe you should be discuss all aspects of sex with your partner, especially the potential risks.

How are we(men and women)supposed to know if we have std's or not if we don't have check-ups?
Also I thought AIDS doesn't kill you.I learned all it does is lower your body's "defense"system which will allow other infections to get inside your body and kill you.(tell me if I'm wrong about that please)
