Looks like I'm wrong about the bassist. Tony Williams must be the guy, as Hammond had left a couple years back and John Glascock was ill.

Thanks! Yes, man this was my fav lineup -Barlow my fav of all the drummers.Just look at the energy and spark coming off the stage here.Reminds me of the Passion Play show of Tull that I saw in the 70s. Just don't see that from Anderson and his gangs these days.

I saw them just this past August 2008 and by George, Ian Anderson, and the rest are still going strong. Saw them in Washington DC outdoor venue area back in 1972 and they blew me totally away...I always had a thing for Ian Anderson anyhow. :-)

I agree with Stratcat, Thick as a Brick was an absolute masterpiece. I personally think it's rock's greatest album.
Regarding the questions about the line up that is obviously Ian Anderson, Martin Barre on guitar, Barriemore Barlow on drums, the two keyboardists were John Evan and David Palmer, and my only question is whether that is John Glascock on bass or a replacement, Tony Williams or whomever, for him due
to his illness. I assume it isn't Dave Pegg. I don't he joined until 1980.

That is Tony Williams and if I'm not mistaken it was one of or maybe even his first live show with Tull.

Its Tony Williams. ... ( 5 days ago by nicysman)
Its Tony Williams. Glenn Cornick, in my opinion was Tulls greatest Bass guitarist, however Glasscock came pretty close. Mind you Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond wasnt too shabby either. Having said that Dave Pegg and Jonathon Noyce were pretty good as well. Now do you want to talk about drummers? Clive Bunker, was brilliant, however, not as good as Barriemore Barlow, then again Duane Perry was pretty good. Then ,of course, we could discuss keyboards, only kidding :). Good old Tull.

Hace algunos a
ños, escuche esta canción por primera vez y no creí que estuviera en vídeo. Con 26 años a cuestas, me he perdido de maravillosas partes de la historia. :( Es tremendamente maravilloso la actuación del grupo y como no, a Anderson tocando la flauta.
