lol. no im not drunk. but i guess you have to look at it case by case. im sure there are lions that will beat tigers. but if your looking for the biggest baddest cat, do some research on the syberian Tiger. They have been known to grow up to 13 feet long and 1000lbs. they swim and climb(most lions cant or wont)and they will hunt almost anything alone.

and also lions are used to long fights because they always do so its in their daily basis, when tiger sees that it cant get a throat bite on a lion tiger backs off first becasue they dont have anymore unique fighting moves and also a neck bite, its aint easy for a tiger to get a throat bite on a lion sometimes they are even unable to because of the main, read some books boy

Lions are pretty strong and probably last longer in fights, but tigers got that fuckin retarded strength. It only lasts for a few seconds, but thats how they make their kills. That one quick burst of speed and strength.

actaully, studies (which i have a LOT of) indiacte lions and tigers are of equal weight. for example, studies from dunbar brander, on 42 male tigers measured, indicate an average of 190 kg. studies upon rhodesia male lions, on 26 males weighed, gives an average of 193.3 kg (quoted by sunquist)
bromlei reports a range of 196-217 kg for male siberains, which was published. and, an average of 202 kg was given for zimbabwe lions, on 18 animals measured. transvaal lions weigh 477 kg.

Oh my God, what on earth makes you think that? Tigers fight just as much as lions do for land and mating rights, often to death, whereas lions usually terminate the fight as soon as one male seems to be stronger than the other. Tigers don't do that - they keep it going till the very last moment. In India, recently, a tiger that measured over 10 feet and 600 pounds was found dead from a fight with another male. Could you imagine how much spirit and determination would it take to kill such a male.
