Also, I personally just think that religion is there to make us better people. Look at all religions, they basically teach that to be happy you have to be good. I'm saying there would be any great reward at the end. For now, in this life, being a good person can have many advantages.

No... christianity and islam says that in order to be happy you must believe there is only one god and that everyone else is wrong. If you don't believe that you go to hell.
That is *not* a good recipe to become happy, nor for neighbours to get along. Further more you don't need a religion to behave decent towards other people.

Thats why I am not a bible thumper, because some of the stuff in there is (from what I see) to make people "scared" into believing things. My point is: Take what you like from the bible, but you cannot deny that they all give you ideas on how to be a good person (that being: do things not only for yourself but in hope that other people can benefit from your actions).

Well the problem is that people do not pick and choose for the most part. They take the package wholesale, including the bad parts.
You don't need a bible, you don't need a religion, you don't need a *church* to be a good person. All you need is common decency and respect to your fellow human beings, something taught to you since you were a child.

Thats why you have to be carefull when getting into religious stuff. You could get sucked into it, and take things too far *caugh* pipe bomb and abortion clinic *caugh*. If you know what your doing in life and your TRULY happy. Then fine. Go do what you want. Thats why we have free will. Ignorant? No, the ignorant part is to start making assumptions you don't have any support for... that's when you take the first step onto the slippery slope that ends up with you making a church.

Repeating an assertion does not make it true. That's the big mistake religios peopel always do.
What you are doing here is a character argument (Ad Hominem) rather than discussing the arguments I have presented. Not only is it cheap and dishonest... it's also indicative you don't have anything real to day. If you have nothing to reply as to what I said and is instead trying to paint me as

It is impossible to prove something does not exist, so I wouldn't be so stupid as to try.
What I said was: if a God does exist, there is no proof of it anywhere. This you has interpreted as if I'm saying for sure that a God does not exist, but you are wrong there. Present me the evidence and I'll believe it. Until you have done that, I'm not making any assumptions.
