What are you talking about? You mean what he played between 0:28 up to 0:32? Sounds to me like the computer repeats exactly what he first played with perfect quantization.
What the computer ... ( 4 months ago by AutomaticGainsay)
What the computer plays at :41 is not what he played originally. You can, or should be able to, plainly hear two notes which are played together which were not played together in his initial performance.

My apologies. Yes there definitely is an overlap there. Probably he'd still whoop us all in synth-to-synth combat.

No doubt that's he's a great musician... that's what makes such an oversight weird. But yes, great musician... absolutely

Agreed. Couldn't afford Juno 6 or Pro One then so making up for lost time and posting results on youtube. Listen to Erasure's "Respect"; the way the sounds layer up gradually is wonderful.

You should try it, it might make your music sound better, unless you use blow tools.
You know what's ... ( 3 weeks ago by emmetor)
You know what's amazing is that is sounds like typical amateurish garage synth crap, is that a Casio CZ1000? It's painful to watch him on the BBC micro - OUCH! Humble equipment for a genius. I would have dumped that seq. pattern with the error and all, but Vince continues and dolls it up, and it begins to sound alright once the percussion is in. Such basic stuff, but he moulds it to sound good. He's a talented kid for sure, and that's why he's a millionaire and we're all broke. Good man V

for the user to set up the whole damn thing, yes its a fucking headache.
But the input and output signals the computer has to process are easy to precess for the computer. Their not complicated at all
