The song should really be Stormy Monday ("Call It Stormy Monday") without the Blues in the title. About three years before T-Bone wrote this there was a No1 song called Stormy Monday Blues, written I think by Billy Eckstine. But who remembers that when you have Aaron Thibeaux Walker playing the way he does. Pure Class !!!

T-Bone Walker is the father of the Blues. Many will disagree but as far as electric guitar goes & single note phrasing .Hes style was copied by the generations of players like BB,Chuck Berry .Albert King wanted to play like him bt couldn't & came up with his own style.
