hes a studio player. from most guitarists standpoints if you can't play live...you can't really play. sure theres the whole show issue but in reality many many GOOD guitar players play really well live. herman li just isn't one of them. don't mark me down until you've seen his live things. or better yet his sweep picking lesson quite bad. check michael angelo batio , or joe impelemeti or w/e, steve vai etc etc

I know he doesn't play as well as A LOT of other guitarists, but you can't say he sucks dick. Their songs are a great mixture of all the different instruments, but I agree they don't play as well live.
